Medical Law
Medical Law includes all matters which are connected in the broadest sense with the health of humans (or animals).
- Law on medical treatment, especially civil and penal law liability of doctors and hospitals.
- Law on private and statutory health insurance together with the law relating to statutory health insurance physicians and dentists.
- Law on nursing insurance extending to occupational, contract, company and compensation law of the healing/medical profession.
Besides the aforementioned matters Medical Law also includes Hospital Law and the law relating to drugs, medical products and pharmacists. Especially in these sectors similarities with Competition Law are evident.
